Although this room is not finished, I thought I'd take a before and after shot to display how much of a difference small added touches can make. It really does not take much to get a room feeling like 'you'.
I heart interior design.

My project in progress.
Glass bottles and melted wax, fun idea to create warmth with a gothic twist! This shot was taken at my house which is slowly turning into a home with added touches like these. |
You'll soon see that I LOVE to decorate with birds. Something about them is so liberating. These are 3D birds that I found at HomeSense. Stuck on by some sticky tack, great way to save yourself from holes in the walls as well as super easy to switch it up whenever youd like!
I know this clock is missing a hand, but hey! this is my work in progress. Found this gem at homesense on sale for 50 bucks, discounted for 40, Ill take it! Soon I'll be posting DIY clock hands!
Oversized Mirrors is always a fabulous idea.
Lovely Space
Ill kick this blog off by starting with I love interior design. From modern chic to rustic country feels I love it all. However, the focus on my blog will be towards shabby chic and creating vintage spaces. Im a huge believer in making your space 'you' and for me thats vintage.I often wonder if I'm way ahead of my time and I think thats indictive of my passion for vintage pieces. Vintage can also mean $$$ so I will be including some DIY projects as well. Part of creating a 'you' space should include artwork and peices you've created yourself! I am an inspiring interior designer and this blog is to mostly be used as my personal inspritration board and I hope others will use it as their own tool of ideas and inspiration. Some pictures posted on this blog are not mine but simply images and spaces I love!
